I joined the Ayurveda course with almost no background and left feeling completely transformed. The teachers explain every concept patiently and the practical marma sessions were the highlight for me. Rishikesh itself adds so much to the experience.
Are you interested in learning about vital energy centres called Marma points in the body? They are main energy junctions in the body where muscles, veins, ligaments, bones, and joints meet, according to modern science. These points are all connected to channelize life force energy (prana flow). We are offering a 5-day Marma Therapy Course at the Nighantu Ayurveda Centre in Rishikesh. Marma points are not a new discovery; they have been part of Ayurvedic tradition for over thousands of years. Rooted in the Sushruta Samhita, one of Ayurveda’s foundational texts, Marmas were originally understood as vital anatomical sites where the body, mind, and consciousness intersect.
Marma therapy related to wellness and rejuvenation is covered by integrating with yoga and Ayurveda.
Learn Panchakarma methods and dietary science to flush deep-seated toxins and radically rejuvenate body tissues.

Rishikesh is where the Ganga leaves the Himalayas, and most of what makes this town special sits within a short walk or ride of our school. Between sessions, students often make their way to Vashistha Cave, Kunjapuri Temple, Parmarth Niketan and Bhutnath Temple, or simply settle on the riverbank for the evening Ganga Aarti.
You are free to explore these nearby locations in your own time, on the days that suit you. Many students find that an unhurried morning at a temple or an hour beside the river deepens what they are learning in the Ayurveda and yoga classroom.
These excursions are not included in the course. These are nearby places you can visit in your free time.
During your stay, you will experience a sattvic living environment that supports clarity of mind and overall well-being. The accommodation includes comfortable bedding, access to hot water, and a serene setting ideal for rest, reflection, and self-study.
Nutritious vegetarian meals prepared according to Ayurvedic principles are included, offering seasonal, freshly cooked dishes that support digestion and sustained energy. Living on campus also allows you to connect with fellow students, share insights, and deepen your understanding of Nighantu through discussions and practical learning.
Students are also served vegetarian Sattvic meals meant to foster vitality, a serene mind, and overall good health. They follow yogic Ahimsa, purity, and conscious eating values, which will further support your practice during the 5 Days Marma Therapy Course at Nighantu Ayurveda.
